Starting May 4, security checks will be carried out on bags and backpacks at the museum entrance, in compliance with the provisions of the competent authorities. Suitcases and luggage will not be permitted.

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection collaborates with the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio of Venice, and other Italian research institutions, which include the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, Florence, and the Consiglio Nazionale delle ricerche CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche), Istituto Nazionale di Ottica INO, and the Istituto di Scienze e Tecnologie Molecolari del Centro Smaart in Perugia. It also participates in research projects for heritage conservation promoted by the EU, such as NANORESTART and APACHE. It also collaborates with the Integrated Project for the European Research Infrastructure on Culture Heritage IPERION CH .
