The International Internship Program at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection started in 1980. International students who share a passion for art participate in the program each year.
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation has been overseeing an International Internship Program at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection for the past 40 years.
The program is designed for students in art, art history, or related disciplines, who are interested in gaining first-hand experience of how a museum is run and familiarity with an important collection of modern art.

Scholarships for the International Internship Program
Each year six candidates of particular merit are selected from among all applicants to receive scholarships dedicated to Anita Belgiorno-Nettis, Liesbeth Bollen, Veronica Bulgari, Alice Stone Ilchman, Frederick Ilchman, and Melissa Ulfane.
Departmental Internships

The Alumni group of the Internship Program aims to encourage networking between young people aiming to pursue a career in the museum sector and international professionals.
