Descrizione della mostra:
I Vorticisti. Artisti ribelli a Londra e New York, 1914-1918 è stata una mostra di riferimento per il movimento vorticista. La prima che ha tentato di ricreare le tre esposizioni vorticiste allestite durante la prima guerra mondiale, e che sono servite a definire l'estetica radicale del gruppo. È stata inoltre la prima mostra dedicata a questo movimento anglo-americano ad essere presentata negli Stati Uniti o in Italia. Sebbene il Vorticismo abbia avuto breve durata, sostanzialmente gli anni della prima guerra mondiale, è stato un movimento modernista di fondamentale importanza.
