Exhibition description:
This exhibition covered the last years of Giorgio Morandi’s artistic production, from the objects he portrayed in 1948–50 to the still life compositions he painted until his death in 1964. The show therefore focused on his later period. The exhibit conveys the manner in which Morandi observed objects and highlights the visual breaks and continuity that are manifested in his compositions.
