The exhibition Peggy Guggenheim in London: The Making of a Collector celebrates the period in which Peggy Guggenheim began her career as a patron and collector with the opening of her first gallery, Guggenheim Jeune, in London.

Gražina Subelytė, Curator, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, examines this episode of Guggenheim’s life and explores the cultural environment of 1930s London, tracing the choices, relationships, and ideas that marked the beginning of her career as a collector.
