An experiential workshop with ceramicist Valentina Stocco, exploring the physical and sensorial dimensions of ceramics, inspired by the sculptures of Lucio Fontana.
Through instinctive gestures, slashes, incisions, and modeling, participants will experience interaction with matter as an expressive, primordial act. The workshop focuses on the tactile quality of clay, its resistance and pliability, leaving traces—marks, fingerprints, and layerings—that reveal a living dialogue between body and matter. Rather than a technical exercise, this activity is a free gestural experience, where the creative process becomes a sculptural gesture, and the surface of clay becomes a space of exploration and memory.
This is a unique opportunity to explore the practice of ceramics, investigating its material qualities and expressive potential, inspired by the work and research conducted by Lucio Fontana.
