The Beauty of Making Mistakes: Atelier dell’Errore

With Luca Santiago Mora, founder and artistic director of Atelier dell’Errore.

Online workshop. Open to all / May 22, 2021, 3 p.m. (CEST)

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection presents an online workshop on the artistic project Atelier dell’Errore. Founded in 2002 as a visual art workshop for younger patients of the Children’s Department of Neuropsychiatry of the Local Healthcare Unit in Reggio Emilia, Atelier dell’Errore has become a work of art itself in creating relationships. The project has recently made possible Atelier dell’Errore Big, the first art studio for patients working as professional artists.

Luca Santiago Mora, founder and artistic director of Atelier dell’Errore, will discuss the Atelier’s methodology, whereby mistakes are considered not only as opportunities, but also as tool to imagine new worlds and possibilities.
