M’illumino di meno
M’illumino di meno

Thursday, February 16, the museum turns off the lights of Palazzo Venier dei Leoni from 6 pm to 10 pm.

On World Day for Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection holds a symbolic moment of energy-saving silence, highlighting the bond between art and culture and environmental sustainability. It also reiterates the museum’s collaboration with ASviS, the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development, which promotes the 17 objectives of the UN’s 2030 agenda and also takes part in the campaign.

The changes suggested by that the M’illumino di Meno (“I Light Up Less”) initiative, which takes place on the World Day for Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles, have by now become necessary for the survival of our planet, as well as offering a chance to develop a social community which is more sustainable in every way.
