On Sundays at 3pm, free workshops for children between 4 and 10 years of age take place at the museum. Younger visitors are introduced to art in an accessible and engaging way, and are also given the opportunity to learn and explore various topics and experiment with different art techniques.
For the 6th edition of Drawing the Guggenheim, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection presents a Kids Day workshop focused on the magical, “unfinished” palazzo that was Peggy Guggenheim’s home between 1949 and 1979, and which today houses her museum. The participants discover the myths and legends that make up the history of Palazzo Venier dei Leoni and transform into young architects. Pencil, colors and off we go … let’s create the palace of our dreams together!
