Surrealism: Symbolism in Art

This summer the roses are blue; the wood is of glass. The earth, draped in its verdant cloak, makes as little impression upon me as a ghost. It is living and ceasing to live which are imaginary solutions. Existence is elsewhere.

On Friday, July 3, on the occasion of the Festival della Bellezza, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection presents a talk by art historian Jacopo Veneziani, titled Surrealism: Symbolism in Art.

The museum will be open from 7 pm, and visitors will be able to visit the permanent collection until 8 pm, when the event starts.
The Museum Café will be open from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Tickets can be purchased online from June 12. Places are limited.

Please note that ticket purchase is also required for members of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
