Guided Tour of the "Edmondo Bacci: Energy and Light" exhibition
Guided Tour of the "Edmondo Bacci: Energy and Light" exhibition

“How can one write about Bacci? Inscrutable, modest, sensitive, self-effacing man. I have no clue to him.”

These were the words used by Peggy Guggenheim to describe Venetian artist Edmondo Bacci, to whom the museum dedicates its latest temporary exhibition organized by Chiara Bertola. The curator guides members tour uncovering the artistic production of one of the few Italian artists to achieve widespread success during their lifetime and exhibit in major Italian and international galleries and museums. The exhibition focuses on the 1950s, the most lyrical and successful decade of Bacci's carrer, when he received the ultimated recognition as a great artist by being afforded his own room at the Venice Biennale of 1958.
