Future Times: Drawing and Design in Architecture
Future Times: Drawing and Design in Architecture

Guided tour and workshop organized by Biennale Educational.

From the earliest of times, human projects were driven by a necessity for shelter to survive: our “creations” attempted to bridge the gap between hostile environments and safe and liveable spaces. Designing projects for a continually changing world means exploring new materials and models to rethink architecture and design as an ecological practice. After visiting the exhibition, children will employ discarded materials from construction or demolition sites, agricultural waste—like banana fibers—or entirely innovative materials that merge natural and artificial intelligence to create their own: a material with unique characteristics, designed to support human adaptation to climate change.
