Choreography: The Art of Composing Movement

Alexander Calder’s sculptures create a choreography that animates and transforms the space around them—a language set in motion by natural elements and human presence. Calder’s mobiles and his theater production, Work in Progress (1968), are the focus of a workshop in which children explore dance and kinetic art and create a contemporary choreography.
