Beauty as a Vision of the Future

The workshop, led by artists and studio teachers Giulia Filippi and Virginia Di Lazzaro, is intended as a moment of reflection on beauty as a tool for renewal.
Educators in schools and society at large take on the mission of educating younger generations about the values of beauty, care, and respect from both a present and future perspective.

During the workshop, which is conceived as a poetic exploration of beauty, each participant will be guided in the creation of a landscape which will stand as the physical setting of a story and the destination of an imaginary journey.

Participants will be asked to identify a space in their home to position their webcam. This can be a piece of furniture, a bookcase or a shelf. They should also select 5 to 10 different objects which hold memories, emotional attachments, or tell a story.

The following materials are also required:

• Several blank sheets of A4 paper
• Pencil, scissors
• Telephone or camera

A certificate of participation will be issued at the conclusion of the workshop.
