Attention to Detail: The Mark of Carlo Scarpa
Attention to Detail: The Mark of Carlo Scarpa

Workshop organized by Fondazione Querini Stampalia.

Architecture must be heard, seen, and touched. This claim by the great Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa accompanies us on a sensorial journey through the spaces of Fondazione Querini Stampalia, where materials, geometry, light, and water create a unique space, made of unmistakable signs. This workshop is an opportunity to learn to read architecture starting from a detail: by pairing materials, experimenting with minute joints, and composing geometries, we will create a single element, inspired by Carlo Scarpa’s mark.
