Founded in 1958, Sanlorenzo is one of the world’s leading shipyards for yachts and superyachts, with four production sites in La Spezia, Ameglia, Viareggio, and Massa, where its tailor-made creations, with lengths ranging from 24 to 70 meters, come to life.

In the last decade the company has worked on the interior design of its yachts with Dordoni Architetti, Antonio Citterio & Patricia Viel, Piero Lissoni (art director of the firm since 2016), Patricia Urquiola, Christian Liaigre, and John Pawson, and each introduced exciting innovations.

In its desire to flee from preconceived ideas and to disclose the imagination, Sanlorenzo has opened up to the art world. Over the years the company has activated collaborations with important art galleries and cultural institutions like the Milan Triennale and Tornabuoni Arte, with which it organized exhibitions on its yachts for Art Basel Miami Beach in 2016 and the 57th Venice Art Biennale. In 2018 Sanlorenzo became global partner of Art Basel, one of the leading international art fairs of modern and contemporary art in Hong Kong, Basel, and Miami Beach.

Along this coherent but also versatile path, in 2020 Sanlorenzo has become an Institutional Patron of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice.
