Lavazza is Inclusivity Supporter of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection
Gruppo Lavazza’s collaboration with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation has deep roots and is founded on shared values that inspired a partnership with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, of which Francesca Lavazza is a member of the Board of Trustees since 2016, launched in occasion of the retrospective exhibition Italian Futurism, 1909–1944: Reconstructing the Universe in 2014.
In 2017 Lavazza became an Institutional Patron of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, supporting numerous exhibitions and initiatives dedicated to Italian and international artists.
The collaboration with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection continues in a new chapter which sees Gruppo Lavazza becoming the museum’s Inclusivity Supporter in 2024. In providing support to the museum’s inclusion and accessibility programs, the company takes a new step in the evolution of a decade-long support of art and culture, charting a course towards principles of commitment and responsibility and aiming to expand the social role of cultural institutions.
In the same context, in 2024 Lavazza continues its collaboration with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum by supporting Learning Through Art, an educational program in which artists collaborate with teachers to develop, facilitate, and integrate artistic projects in the school curriculum.
Furthermore, in 2024 Gruppo Lavazza presented IncluVisity, a project started the previous year through a collaboration with Italian and international museums and cultural institutions, including the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, that places people and experiences at the core of museum displays, converging accessibility towards programs designed for a broader and more diverse public, thus guaranteeing inclusivity, by promoting the value of diversity, equality, and acceptance.
