Venice, June 8, 2021 – Would you like to discover the treasures of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection from the comfort of your home and learn with an educator about the masterpieces by Giorgio de Chirico, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, and many more great artists of the twentieth century on view at Palazzo Venier dei Leoni? Now you can! On Tuesday, June 22 at 6:15 pm, the museum offers a live tour, in English, directly from the museum galleries. The tour will highlight some of the most iconic works collected over a span of more than thirty years by the visionary American patron of the arts Peggy Guggenheim.
The tour is offered through Zoom and lasts 45 minutes. Participation is granted upon payment of a €5 fee per participant, reservation fee included. A link to the tour is emailed to participants the day before the visit. Educators are available to take questions at the end of the visit. The Peggy Guggenheim Collection also offers live online tours to groups of friends and families wishing to enjoy an immersive experience and to visit the museum from a distance. This is a unique opportunity for all art lovers to tour the museum in an engaging, though remote, experience. Tours last one hour and are available upon request daily 6:30-8:30pm and on Tuesdays 9am-4pm. Reservation and payment must be made at least 7 working days before the tour.
