The workshop Who Looks at What? with Italian artist S.O.B., originally scheduled for October 29-31 on the island of Certosa in Venice, is postponed.
In compliance with the October 25th Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers (DPCM), the PGC, together with Swatch Art Peace Hotel, has postponed the workshop Who Looks at What? with the Italian artist Stefano Ogliari Badessi, S.O.B., originally scheduled for October 29-31 on the island of Certosa, Venice. The second workshop in the series Overcoming: Art Practices for the New Normal will be rescheduled at a later date when in-person meetings are safe again.
The final two workshops in the series remain confirmed at this time. Beyond the Wall: Art and Context with Roman street artist Alice Pasquini (November 27–29, 2020) will be an opportunity for reflection on urban transformation and recovery through the study of Street Art techniques and the elaboration of one or more works of public art. Explore the Distance with Swedish artist Cecilia Jansson (January 22–24, 2021) will look at the medium of drawing and at the human body as one’s measuring instrument and limit. Both workshops include an option for remote participation should it be necessary to cancel in-person meetings. As with the previous workshops in the series, the on-site portion of the project will be preceded by meetings via the Zoom platform and open to all, for a direct dialogue with the artist.
Participation is free and registration is required, subject to availability.
