The Peggy Guggenheim Collection runs a museum orientation program which allows students attending Italian high schools in the Veneto Region to gain first-hand knowledge and experience of a world-class cultural institution.

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection’s Museum Orientation Program provides first-hand experience of working in an international museum, including interacting with the public and discovering the daily routine and tasks of different staff members.

To participate in the program, teachers must collect their students’ motivational letters, in which they explain their reason for applying. Applications must be submitted in a single email to didattica@guggenheim-venice.it between January 10 and February 10, 2026, with "Candidatura per FSL" + name of the school" as the email's subject.

Each school can send a maximum of 15 applications. The motivational letters should highlight the interests, skills, knowledge, and motivations of the applicant, and will be examined by the museum’s Education Department. Please specify the months in which the orientation program should take place, between March 1 and July 31, 2026.

The teachers of the selected candidates will be contacted by phone or email by February 28. Once the candidates have been selected, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection will organize the timing and activities of the Museum Orientation Program with their teachers.
