The Peggy Guggenheim Collection can be a resource for those involved with schools, schooling and school-programs by offering a series of free activities aimed at strengthening teaching skills.
Each school year opens with two events specifically designed for teachers.
The inaugural conference with education experts is intended to motivate and inspire teachers by elaborating on topics related to teaching and the education system, and by presenting innovative methodologies and new practices.
The conference is followed by an EDU Open Day that takes place at the museum and offers teachers the opportunity to participate in guided tours and art workshops, and to discover the educational programs of the museum for the current school year.
Following these two events, teachers can participate in a rich calendar of in-depth programs conducted by professionals and experts from different fields. The workshops for the 2019–20 school year focus on communication and introduce teachers as narrators, educators and mediators of knowledge.
Participation is free of charge.
Participants receive a certificate of participation at the end of each activity.
