If you would like to take part in the International Internship Program at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, please note that there are two different application processes:

For international candidates and Italian candidates registered with A.I.R.E. (Anagrafe Italiani Residenti all’Estero)

It is no longer possible to apply for the 2025 International Internship Program.

DEADLINES AND NOTIFICATION

Both accepted and unsuccessful candidates will be notified via email.

Applicants for January–May were notified on November 1, 2024.
Applicants for May–December will be notified on February 16, 2025.

FURTHER INFORMATION

International participants will receive a sum of €1000 per month as a contribution towards living expenses.

Internship FAQs

For Italian students

Italian university students can apply to the program for a curricular internship at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. The museum has a series of agreements with local Italian universities, allowing participation in the program to be valid for course credits.

Please send your CV and availability to internship@guggenheim-venice.it, or contact your university’s internship office.

DEADLINES AND NOTIFICATION

The museum can accommodate a limited number of curricular interns each month and these are allocated on a rolling basis throughout the year. The selection process does not follow the same deadlines or notification dates as those for international candidates and includes an interview.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Students will receive course credits for their participation in the program and and do not receive a reimbursement of expenses.
