- For those applying for the months of January-May, 2021, application must be postmarked by September 15, 2020.
- For those applying for the months of May-December, 2021, application must be postmarked by December 1, 2020.
Notification to all applicants is postponed by a few weeks with respects to dates originally communicated.
Both accepted and unsuccessful candidates will be notified via e-mail. Applicants for January–May will be notified on November 1, 2020. Applicants for May–December will be notified on February 15, 2021.

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection has a series of agreements with Italian universities, allowing the internship to be valid for course credits.
The internship program for Italian students is on a voluntary basis and as such is unpaid.
