In 2012, Hannelore B. and Rudolph B. Schulhof bequeathed eighty works of post-war Italian, European, and American art to the Solomon R. These include, among others, paintings by Alberto Burri, Jean Dubuffet, Lucio Fontana, Hans Hofmann, Ellsworth Kelly, Anselm Kiefer, Agnes Martin, Kenneth Noland, Mark Rothko, and Cy Twombly, as well as sculptures by Carl Andre, Alexander Calder, Anthony Caro, Eduardo Chillida, Barbara Hepworth, Jenny Holzer, Donald Judd, and Marino Marini.
