Approximately 800 prints, recorded, digitized and organized in different classes:
- Roloff Beny: 163 prints (plus 10 original prints)
- Bianconero: 310 prints (plus 16 large format)
- Personal Photos: 121 prints (plus 14 large format)
- Various origins: 69 small-format prints, plus 92 large format.
Approximately 350 prints have been catalogued using a special software designed to conform with ICCD photography cataloguing manual.
The collection is composed mainly of negative coming from CameraphotoEpoche (323 negative) by Bianconero and transferred to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection thanks to a donation by the Cassa di Risparmio di Venezia; 49 other negatives, belonging to the bottom "MISCELLANEOUS", are personal photographs of Peggy Guggenheim. The collection of negatives is managed by the same database relative prints.
The Peggy Guggenheim Collection preserves and manages colour and black & white transparencies of all works owned by the museum as well as the works of the Gianni Mattioli Collection (on long-term loan).
Approximately 5000 slides, organized by subject and divided into various categories. A collection of colour slides called the Wilson Collection has as subject ‘Peggy Guggenheim.'
