GUIDELINES: MISSION, PROGRAMS, COMMITMENT
FOR THE ARTS
Dedicated to the collection, conservation,
and study of modern and contemporary art,
the Peggy Guggenheim Collection’s mission
aligns itself with the values of its various
members, creating a unique network that strives
to promote the understanding and appreciation
of art using the potential formed by each
of its members’ contributions, devotion,
and interest.
The International Patrons is a valued group
of international art collectors, experts
and connoisseurs, who have dedicated themselves
to the support and development of the museum’s
mission since 2004 with utmost passion for,
and commitment to art.
Admission to the International Patrons is
upon invitation by the PGC.
ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS
The PGC proposes a calendar exclusively
tailored to the finest connoisseurs of modern
and contemporary art including; meetings
with curators and experts; select visits
of private collections and art galleries
specially opened for members; and guided
tours of art fairs and museums in Italy and
abroad. This program is complimented by the
expertise and excellent global network of
the PGC, and of the prestigious Solomon R.

PRIVATE COLLECTIONS, INTERNATIONAL ART FAIRS,
MUSEUMS AND EXPERTS
The program presents members with the rare
opportunity to meet the most prominent collectors
and visit their homes and collections. During
the VIP previews of International art fairs,
the PGC also provides for curator guided
tours as well as accommodation, VIP passes,

the PGC is privy to before-hand information
regarding the Biennale, allowing it to
give members a sneak peek of the various
programs and activities taking place, in
advance.
In addition, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation,
holder of the U.S. Pavilion, offers the international
patrons a unique program including exclusive
events, meetings with the artists and social
evenings during the Biennale preview days.
IN
THE KNOW AND ON THE SCENE
International Patrons are kept informed
of and invited to the many exhibition openings
and gala receptions held at the PGC as well
as the Guggenheim museums in New York, Bilbao,
and Berlin. Keeping them in the know, the

PERSONAL RELATIONS
To the PGC networking
means supporting and enhancing communication
amongst members. We believe in the potential
of these relationships and consider them
as opportunities for which we set an excellent
platform on which to share passion and
curiosity.
The PGC views each member
as a unique individual; we pride ourselves
