GUIDED VISIT
Founded in 1875, by reviving old looms and machines formerly used by the Silk School of the Republic of Venice, Tessitura Bevilacqua continues the old Venetian craft of weaving. Bevilacqua combines old techniques and historical designs with a touch of modernity. Their fabrics have been used by high couture designers, such as Roberta di Camerino, or by interior decorators in prestigious buildings, such as the Stockholm City Hall or churches in Venice, namely the Basilica della Salute. Bevilacqua also contributed to the restoration of unique buildings, such as the Kremlin.
