presentation to the public
Every day at 12 noon and 4pm the museum offers free presentations on the life of Peggy Guggenheim. At 11am and 5pm short presentations on an artwork in the collection are given. At 3:30pm there is a guided tour introducing visitors to the current temporary exhibition. Presentations are in English or Italian according to availability of guides.

ask me about the art
Ask Me About The Art encourages a informal exchange between visitors and the museum.
Thanks to an identifying badge, the museum’s international interns can be readily identified and are available to visitors to answer any questions they may have about the works of art on view.

mantova creativa

A Scuola di Guggenheim takes part in Mantova Creativa thanks to the partnership with LUBIAM, the company that provided the materials for the workshop Casa!
The activity involves schools in Mantua and the surrounding area, fostering relations between teachers and family. The collaboration between them will drive the making of projects that will turn into a collective installation to be exhibited at the Fruttiere di Palazzo Te from May 29 to June 2, 2014.

May 31 and June 1, free workshops for families will be held at the Fruttiere in Palazzo Te.
art night venezia
The Peggy Guggenheim Collection took part in the third edition of Art Night Venezia, promoted by the University of Ca' Foscari and the Comune di Venezia.
free venetian week
Every year at the time of the Venetian celebration of the Madonna della Salute (November 21), the museum honours tradition by offering free entry to residents of Venice.
A full program of guided tours and workshops for children is offered.

beclear!

Effective and incisive communication.

How much do we know about expressing ourselves effectively so that what we communicate fully reaches our interlocutor? How capable are we at decoding the messages that fill our daily lives? How is information that passes from one generation to another reinterpreted? In a metaphoric generational passage of experiences and languges BeClear! will see the transmission of works produced by adults to youths, who will intervene on the inherited materials and hand them over to children, so they may in turn experiment with and interpret them.
