In 2014, Enel, the most prominent electrical company in Italy, with branches in 40 countries around the world, joined the Institutional Patrons of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Culture, quality and responsibility are the values that brought Enel to join the collaboration.

For several years Enel has worked within the language of contemporary art, which expresses the qualities of innovation, attention to the environment, and internationality that are at the heart of the future of a sustainable society and, therefore, of the development of the company.

Moreover, in 2007 the company launched the public art project Enel Contemporanea, which annually supports the presentation of energy themed artworks created by international artists.
