John Leopoldo Fiorilla di Santa Croce John Leopoldo Fiorilla di Santa Croce

John Leopoldo Fiorilla di Santa Croce is Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Advisory Board of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.

Mr. Fiorilla is the managing partner of the Arabian Gulf Fund, a Dubai-based private equity fund. He is also a co-founder and president of Translux, a Dubai-based privately-owned natural resource company engaged in oil, gas and metal activities in the Arabian Gulf region. Mr. Fiorilla began his career with the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell in New York. From 1992 to 1993, Mr. Fiorilla was an attorney with Brosio, Casati E Associati in Milan, working on Italian privatizations, afterward returning to Sullivan & Cromwell’s London office.
He is a Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association and serves on the Committee on International Security Affairs of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He also serves on the board of Save Venice, and is a member of the Holy See’s delegation to the General Assembly of the United Nations.
Mr. Fiorilla has been decorated by the governments of Italy, the Holy See, and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.
Mr. Fiorilla is married to the former Annie Borello of Turin, Italy, with whom he has two sons. They live between New York and Venice.
Mr. Fiorilla has been an ex officio member of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation Board of Trustees since 2008.
